Dressage Training Centre | Heath Farm | Emile Faurie
Heath Farm is a centre of classical dressage teaching and training excellence. Our first priority here is to create a balanced, professional and friendly environment where horse and rider will flourish together. My dedicated team will greet you and your horse with courtesy and care, ensuring that they understand the specific feed and care regime which you request.
Heath Farm has been developed over the past 15 years into a training facility of which I am extremely proud. None of this would be possible without my team who are exceptional.

Kelly has been with me for 7 years. Her horse Silver is doing well at advanced medium, and most importantly she runs Heath Farm. ‘I love my job it’s a pleasure to work here. I have learnt so much from Emile and I have taught him a few things too about being organised!! Heath Farm is our home and it’s my job to make sure there is always a relaxed atmosphere and welcoming smile to clients. The horses of course are our priority and they are pampered!” Says Kelly
Kelly is also with me at the Internationals and is my right hand girl. She knows all my little quirks and needs when I am competing and her relationship with the horses is very special. Kelly is getting married on Aug 14th 2010. I wish her all the luck in the future and am honoured to have her reception here at Heath Farm.
With a successful local show jumping career under his belt since the age of 13, Adam has taken all his experience and natural talent and developed into one of the best young riders I have seen. The dressage has become a drug to him and he has a very exciting future ahead of him. He came to me after working backing and breaking youngsters with Sam Geddes and also spent 18 months working as head groom for Paul Hayler. I am lucky to have him. He has a natural feel and empathy with the horses and I have no reservations about leaving him in charge of the exercise program when I am away. He rides all the horses superbly and is doing well on the competition circuit with his own horse! “I have learnt a whole new way of riding here and how to use the scales of training, I just can’t wait to get on the next horse every day under Emiles watchful eye!”
Favourite things: Chocolate, R&B, Pubs. Favorite Horse: Totilas & mine of course. Ambition: the Nationals, the Europeans, and the Olympics!!!!!!!
EJ joined me three years ago. Her career started off in showing, and working at local riding schools at her home town near Preston. “I love working here” says EJ, “it is such a comfortable and relaxed place to work which makes the time fly by.” She has her own horse Tzar who she has competed at novice. She doesn’t have any major riding achievements to date but also enjoys other activities such as foot ball and is really into her music!
She has her NVQ level 1& 2 and her BHS 1&2 as well as her PTT from the Weygreen College of Equitation. Her energy is boundless and she adores the horses which is important to me.
Alex is the newest member to the team and is certainly keeping me on my toes and feeling young! He is a phenomenal runner and very into his fitness regime. Kelly got fit for her wedding and looks sensational so I have decided Alex is in charge of fitness and will certainly make my tail coat fit again like it did a few years ago!! He comes from a very horsey background, riding since he could walk. Although he is young horses are a way of life to him and that is obvious when you watch him around them. His Mother evented for Great Britain in Holland, so he has had plenty of experience of how demanding this life can be.
He has mainly competed at eventing and show jumping through the Pony Club and other Riding clubs which I think is an invaluable experience. He has just completed his GCSE'S. Alex says “I like working here, it’s a friendly atmosphere and I love the way the horses are trained and cared for to the highest standard”. It’s an honour for me to work for someone like Emile so early on in my career.”
Lara has been a livery for seven years, I don’t see her as a livery she is part of the team really! With 4 Europeans under her belt she is a pleasure to have around. A fabulous rider and another one to watch for the future. Lara says “I have improved so much being here Emile is an amazing trainer, the best in the UK. I can watch a video of before and after a lesson and see the difference! We have a close relationship now which of course helps but he can make anyone improve. He is so relaxed and chilled around the horses. My young horse is at Medium now and we hope to be PSG by the end of the year”.
